Ortho Images

Ortho photographs are a tool that gives you an overhead view of your property and can be used to plan projects. The library of images available at the LSRCD includes colour photos taken as recently as 2007. Contact us today to order an ortho photo of your property. Prices vary depending on the size of the map. GIS services are also available to assist landowners in evaluating their operation. RM ortho maps available as well. The district also has a 42 inch plotter for your large scale printing needs. MCDA Youth Multimedia Competition

Stduents in grades 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 from across Manitoba can let their creativity flow and come up with a video or PowerPoint with a message about being sustainable with water, directed at a middle school or high school audience, but with appeal for other age groups.  Prizes are awarded at the annual MCDA Conference in December.

Oak Hammock Marsh Eco-Van

The LSRCD will sponsor this travelling education team, based out of the Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre, to visit your school with their science-based programs for grades K to 12.
